Nick's Pizza!


Actually, Nick makes lots of different kinds of pizza - BBQ Chicken, Chicken Pesto, Margherita, etc… So this is the basic starting point. Get creative and have fun - Nick even tosses the dough every now and then (he’s secretly training to be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade after we saw this)

Get this and follow the directions! Then top with what you want! Simple huh? Oh, and that box? About 50 cents at Walmart - a little over a dollar at QFC.

For BBQ Chicken:

Place two thawed chicken breasts in a kettle with 2 cups BBQ sauce. You might need to add a little water to prevent burning. As the chicken cooks down, you can use a potato masher to turn it into shredded or pulled chicken.

Top the crust with a light layer of BBQ sauce, chicken and top it all off with mozzarella. Cook until cheese is golden brown at the edges.

For Chicken Pesto:

Do the exact same thing except, you mix in pesto sauce (or water and pesto sauce mix - found on the baking aisle of most grocery stores) instead of BBQ sauce.

This needs no additional sauce, just put the chicken on the crust and top with cheese.

For Margherita:

Top the crust with a thin layer of marinara sauce, sliced beefsteak tomatoes, basil leaves, and mozzarella. Cook until the tomatoes have softened and the cheese is golden.
